Limoncello prosecco cocktail is perfect for any celebration. It’s just the right amount of sparkling lemony goodness, plus blueberries and thyme.
Limoncello Prosecco
It seems there’s lots to celebrate this week, so I thought a cocktail recipe was apropos. I just uploaded my massive Bali Island Guide which was long overdue, but hooray, it’s done and hopefully will inspire a few tropical adventures. I just shot my third YouTube video, which fingers crossed will be uploaded tomorrow. It’s summer and the weather’s been gorgeous (well, at least if you’re at the beach). Oh, and I turn 40 next week (totally sneaking that one in at the end).
To celebrate my big, over-the-hill milestone (do people still say that?), I just booked a spontaneous flight to New York next week. Yay! Most of my girlfriends have done a mass exodus of Cali to the East Coast over the last couple of years…so I thought, why not jump on a plane to visit them. And celebrate. Twist my arm to travel, right?
Lemoncello Prosecco – the Perfect Celebration Cocktail
I’ll post more on my birthday festivities next week (or more likely, on the flight back from New York) so today, let’s celebrate anything you feel like celebrating with this lemony bubbly goodness that’s limoncello prosecco with blueberries and thyme.
I still remember drinking limoncello years ago while perched high atop the Amalfi Coast of Italy. Ravello….Positano….I think I must have “sampled” limoncello in every charm-oozing town along the coast. When in Rome….or, Amalfi! So today, in keeping with the Italian theme, I’ve combined it with prosecco for a light, sparkling, endless summer cocktail – with blueberries and thyme added for good styling measure.
