- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon olive oil or avocado oil
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon dried basil
- ½ teaspoon dried thyme
- ½ teaspoon dried oregano
- salt and pepper, to taste
Preheat your oven to 425°F/220°C. In a small bowl, stir together the garlic powder, basil, thyme, oregano, salt and pepper.
Lightly coat the chicken breasts in olive oil. Then rub the herbed spice mix on both sides of the chicken.
Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes. Let the chicken rest for a few minutes to allow the juices to redistribute within the meat, then serve.
