  • Glaze the chicken. After the chicken has cooked for 20 minutes, use a silicone brush to brush the hot honey sauce all over the chicken. Cook the chicken for another 10 minutes, then brush again. Cook the chicken for another 10 minutes. If you have any leftover sauce, you can brush the chicken one last time, then cook for another 3 to 5 minutes. The chicken is done after 40 to 45 minutes of cooking, or when an instant read thermometer reaches 175°F (80°C). If you'd like to crisp up the skin, you can broil for 1 to 2 minutes.

Notes

  • You don't need to flip the chicken drumsticks, as enough sauce slides all over the chicken.
  • If you'd like to reduce the heat, you can omit the chili powder and/or use a milder hot sauce.
  • Storage tip: These will last 3 to 4 days in the fridge or up to 3 months in the freezer.
  • Reheating tip: You can reheat them in the oven at 375°F (190°C) for 15 to 20 minutes, air fry them at 350°F (175°C) for 5 to 7 minutes, or microwave for a couple of minutes until warmed through.
