Just the other day I was chatting with my dad about how we haven’t been making as many green smoothies lately. And it makes sense, right? Given the seasonal change, cooler weather (it’s raining today!) and increase in hearty, comfort foods. But, after years of trial-and-error on what makes me feel my absolute best, I know I need my greens. Yep, it’s a simple equation. Greens just make me feel good. And I know for certain that dad needs his greens, which I’ve chatted about many times…along with how I usually have to sneak them into his diet through smoothies, juices and soups so that he doesn’t actually have to chew the lettuce and other “rabbit food” items.

Unlike dad, I do love my rabbit food, but I also know that this time of year is just a whirlwind of craziness. And I’m all for making life easy and less stressful. Anyone else up for a little “downshifting?” So when Daily Greens reached out and asked if I’d like to try their green juice, I didn’t hesitate in saying yes. Healthy, nutrient-dense, convenient greens in a juice? Count me in. Oh, and not having to wash my blender daily when I’m working on a dozens of new holiday recipes, even better.

What I love about Daily Greens is that all of the ingredients are certified organic, sourced from whole plants and cold pressed. This means the maximum amount of nutrition is squeezed into every bottle. There’s also no added water or sugar and something especially important for gluten-free me…no gut-irritating grasses (like wheatgrass). The drinks are naturally sweetened with organic fruits and the combos are well balanced and delicious. I personally love the Elevate flavor which is a combination of cucumber, spinach, sweet pear and watercress with a splash of lime and vanilla. And this morning I had the Morning Greens flavor which contains 2 billion little gut-happy probiotics. A green juice bonus for sure.

Next time you’re at the supermarket, keep your eyes peeled for Daily Greens and grab a flavor that tickles your fancy. It’s sure to be a winner and you’re sure to get a boost of ultra-convenient nutrients.
