Mango season might be my favorite—and for good reason! These mango recipes are pure sunshine in every bite. From creamy mango smoothies to vibrant salads and icy popsicles, this list proves just how fun (and irresistibly flavorful) mangoes can be.

Why You’ll Love These Mango Recipes

I may have lived off mangoes and sticky rice during my two months in Thailand, but when summer rolls around in Southern California, nothing makes me happier than slicing into a perfectly ripe mango. Their naturally sweet, juicy, and creamy texture brings tropical flair to any dish. And I love that they’re equally delicious in savory recipes as they are in desserts (it’s a win all around!). So here’s why I come back to this list of mango recipes again and again:

  • They’re fresh and easy. Mangoes need minimal prep. All you have to do is slice and scoop.
  • They’re nutrient-dense and naturally sweet. One cup of sliced mango contains over 15 vitamins and minerals, including Vitamin C, A, and folate, plus powerful antioxidants. Yet, they taste like tropical candy straight from Mother Nature!
  • They’re incredibly versatile. From smoothies and cocktails to salsas and desserts, mangoes make everything taste better.

  • Make the base. Whisk together the coconut milk, chia seeds, maple and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl. Then place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes, until completely chilled.
  • Make mango puree. Add the mango to a food processor and pulse several times to make a creamy puree.
  • Make popsicles. Fill the molds of a popsicle maker by alternating the mango puree and coconut chia mix. Add the popsicle sticks and pop them in the freezer for at least 2 hours. Once firm, remove the popsicles from the mold and enjoy.
